  1. Nice site. Front page is kind of cluttered and doesn’t really tell me how to get the service. Great testimonials and samples. FAQs should have a search function.

  2. Resume bar is giving a great opportunity for the consumers. It is giving five free resumes for the person to be use. This is its a great advantage. I am proud to be the member of this website.

  3. This resume bar is giving free resumes for people to use, its a gift for people like me, and i am proud of this.

  4. I agree that Resume Bear is the #1 resume site online.I have used other sites and i found that this is the most simplest one. This is a great opportunity for its Consumers.

  5. I would love a resume makeover, because I based mine off of a Microsoft Word template, and have such a hard time updating or changing it. Plus, I have spread it like seeds to the wind and yet no job opportunities ever seem to spring up “because we liked your resume.”

  6. This Resume Bear is giving an opportunity to the people who are having jobs and who are not having jobs also can apply in this site. I think this is one of the best resume site when compared to others. Thank you for giving this nice opportunity.

  7. I found your website really productive and wonderful for someone like me. I have created my resume with this website and now my resume has a unique and a different style and I am proud of. Many thanx to the resume bear.

  8. My resume was produced from templates probably more than 25 years old. I am a not one of the younger set, well tuned in to the internet and all it has to offer. Instead, I am an older displaced worker dealing in an industry where a dynamic resume would be invaluable. I do not know the others seeking your free makeover, and I wish them all the best in their job search. However I am father of two whose wife is unemployable for health reasons, and is just 3 – 5 weeks away from reaching total financial collapse and could really use a dynamic resume to try to land a job in the next three weeks. I want to thank you for this opportunity and you will be doing five people a great service.

  9. I’d be very interested. I am having a hard time getting out of my rut with “here’s what I do” instead of here’s measurable accomplishments. Looking forward to some help/guidance.

  10. I hope to be one of the lucky 5 to win Resume Makeover by ResumeBear. I have been searching for a new software product management position since mid-October 2008. Have done my best to modernize it using “free advice” from a variety of sources – without any luck as yet.

I have been trying to save the $$ for a professional revision / makeover / redo while struggling to close the ever widening gap in my budget.

If I were one of the “fortunate 5″ to receive a complimentary makeover, I would be happy to “pay it forward” by allowing its use as a case study on your website and offer help on a peer to peer basis with other anxious job seekers!

  11. I’m a budding career coach who’s very fun and cool, but my resume doesn’t reflect my personality or value that I’ve provided to my employers these last 25+ years. I’m embarassed to say, “I need help”.

And, I’m always looking for great resources to refer my clients to.

  12. I am no professional graphic designer and my resume is currently based off the design of a Microsoft Word template. It looks alright, but as I’ve been unemployed for three months now I could really use the visual boost that a makeover would provide.

I’m a photographer in Chicago, IL trying to get my freelance career started, but really want to get a job assisting a fashion photographer. I would assume that professionals in the fashion industry are very visually oriented so having an eye-catching design would be killer!

  13. My resume should be chosen because I’m an example of someone who’s trying to apply an extensive and unique educational background (almost a Ph.D. in psychology) to an entirely different field (writing and speaking). My CV is (was) 6 pages long. I need help to know what people looking for a writer want to know about me.

  14. you should pick me because I was writing this massive comment like 30 lines at least, and my computer crashed… nevermind I’m at my grad school coz I don’t have one lol help me out!

    Mohamad

  15. My resume has much room for enhancement and that’s why you should select me for Makeover. You can demonstrate how to and how much you can make it better to everyone ;-) My one is best as a material for the show.

  16. I designed my resume using mainframe applications in 1990, I was able to transfer it to a Microsoft Word format but it is in essence the same document as I created in 1990. I’m currently in a job search so it would be nice to have it re-worked by a professional.

  17. I would like to apply for a free resume makeover. My unique situation is that I worked in corporate/copyediting positions for many years before my job was outsourced. Then I went to culinary school and have been in the (low-paying) food service industry for the past 6 years. Now I would like to get back into a nice, stable administrative position but don’t know how to make a smooth transition between the two parts of my work history

  18. I would like to win this free resume makeover because I am getting married soon and I need a job – otherwise I’ll have to postpone the wedding . I really hope you will help … I have been looking for a month now, there must be something wrong with my resume :( Pls help

  19. This correspondence is provided to request consideration as it pertains to the free resume review that is being offered to five potential candidates. My employment began in a clerical capacity in 1985. Since then I have been promoted three times. However, all three positions remain clerical even though I have a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Business Administration/Education. It is possible that may resume speaks strongly to clerical positions, yet it should speak strongly to administrative. If selected for resume review, your services would position me to be successful with presenting a clear portrayal of my strengths for future employment. Your consideration is sincerely appreciated.

  20. Most jobseekers depend upon expert resume writers – which is a sensible thing to do. Such professionally prepared resumes stand a better chance of catching a recruiter’s attention.

But it is no more enough to “ catch attention “.

A resume must succeed in “ amazing “ any recruiter – by being “ Interactive “.

In a resume, a recruiter should be able to find additional information about a candidate by

    > viewing “ analytical “ graphs – rather than reading

    > clicking on “ knowledge / skill “ –related keywords

    > clicking on Candidate-Name / Birth date / City location

You will find this at http://www.CustomizeResume.com

I will appreciate suggestions for further improvements.

    With regards
