  1. To go along with #5, I’ve heard that people who go to college are more likely to have stronger family values — that they spend more quality time with their family and help prepare their children more for life’s experiences.

  2. Yes,I do belive having a better education will make a difference.Today you can’t get left behind becuase you won’t be able to catch up.Thanks

  3. Education is key to the success and future of this great country. Without it, we will be consumed by other economic and political powers.

  4. Education is the number one ingredient in man’s pursuit of happiness.

  5. I don’t care if you get an education in Basket Weaving …. it opens doors because it shows many attributes such as; Focus, Commitment, Drive, Competitive Edge; Sense of Pride, Confidence and a Renewed Spirt …. just to name a few.

  6. I can speak from personal experience. Our daughter went to college and got a Bachelors in Psychology. We kept telling her it was a worthless degree without a Masters. She finally found her passion as an interior designer and uses her Psychology degree every day as she interacts with clients. The “wasted degree” has made her the most outstanding interior designer in her neck of the woods!

  7. The main purpose of attaining a job is to acquire an income; therefore, “Boost in Your Earning” should be a major consideration for most people. It’s an established fact that people who complete college, on average, earn more over the course of their lifetime than those people who do do complete college.

  8. My education has served me all of my life. Even if we don’t go into the field we studied in college, we did get a well rounded education.

  9. So true! My daughter just completed classes in the dental field. Once she gets her license you can believe she will earn a much better income than she would without a license. Education opens doors.

  10. CollegeComplete, great idea and much needed solution. Education, whether College or Technical, is an accomplishment that does not have an expiration date. A recognized asset that is yours forever.

  11. Education is always a plus in your favor when searching for a career opportunity.

  12. I’ve heard the comment, (why go to college most people don’t get into the field that they are trained for). I say the time was not wasted, you will use your new skills all your life!

  13. Great advice. However, keep in mind that college is not for everyone and one can carve out a very good life for themselves without college, especially if they are passionate about something.

The key is #2 above, “Finding Your Passion”.

Some people go to college just to get away from home or just to keep from getting a job or just to follow their friends.

Go to college for the right reasons and one of those main reasons should be to learn more about what you love doing to add value to others.

  14. Why limit your potential by not going to college? With todays technology, it’s never too late.
